Default FS: J's Racing exhaust manifold

Or the 'power maker' as I like to call it />/>

IMO the best S2000 manifold out there (until I try this Hytech one />/>) with proven power increase.

With this beast, a decat and intake my car mapped with AEM gave about 20 bhp peak increase and upto 30 bhp more in the midrange.

It's been on my car about 18 months from new.

These cost $1500 (plus shipping / duty) or about £1200 if you buy from a UK agent, with 12 weeks delivery time as J's make these to order.

I'm after £850 delivered for it and not open to offers of any kind at this stage - so please don't try yes it's expensive, but it's a proven item unlike some of the copies / replicas.

'The J‘s Racing header is a 4-2-1 design to gain the best flow characteristics from the manifold (50mm -> 50mm -> 55mm in to 60mm taper diameter). The stock manifold weights 10.5 KG however this J's Racing Special Racing Header runs a feathery 5.5KG.'

I had one of these

I don't know why i changed it, the flange at the head is soo smooth with nice head matched ports. Gas flow is good with this beaut.

And you can't beat a nice smooth flange!

Well said. Smooth flange is a necessity for decent flow.

If you run a manifold. does the car need mapping still or can u run it without a map? an will it run richer?

Adding this will improve flow, so the car will run leaner, so you get more power from that effect. A remap isn't needed, but it advised to get the extra power from it and other mods. If you have full breathing mods then there's a chance you will be running too lean and need remap anyway.

The problem is shipping, it costs a lot! If you can cover it i'm happy to send to the US. But you would probably get it cheaper from GoTuning or someone. Might just take longer!
