Looks nice. Waiting on your review of the suspension parts. I'm on the fence in getting the Spoon front ball joint instead of the J's S1 due to durability concerns.
The spoon is more than likely made by the same OEM supplier, if your concern is durability you want the Spoon unit, not the J's.
I agree. The Spoon joint will likely have no durabliity concerns. The J's is pretty well proven over the years though. I assume the actual joints on both will wear out over time. I went with the J's because of the built in roll center correction.

Right, so other than durability, another difference is one has the camber dialed in and the other is adjustable?

No. Both are offset joints that will change the range of camber and the J's is also slightly extended vertically to add a small amount of roll center correction as well. I think with the J's you can buy additional plates for more roll center correction including the required longer bolts.

That would be the L1 option. Thanks for the explanation.

looks awesome! so for my HJC FG-17 helmet, I need a straight cut? Only Arai is the curve?

The curved one is specifically mean for Arai visors. I have no idea which one would best fit your helmet. If the visor looks similar to the Arai GP6 then I would go for the curved version.

And so it begins...

Just a quick glimpse. The car is so beautiful now. Sebring Silver and bronze CE28Ns is a combo I had never seen in person before and it is by far my favorite. This post is more about how the car looks, rather than how it behaves. Needless to say I went out and gave it a good shakedown. Nothing better then getting a far more comfortable ride in normal use, then going out for a more serious drive and realizing that I can now start entering corners significantly faster. Huge thanks to BlackTrax for the great work on the install. 2014 is going to be a very fun year.

Welcome to Stage II.

Finally got the new wheels in, very nice man. Plus those Ohlins are awesome, ready for another detailed update from you on the new driving impressions.

Beautiful. Really wanted to get CE28s but the size I wanted just never popped up. I now have a set of DFVs on the way as well as a set of advan RSIIs. Can't wait to hear further impressions of your DFV install.
