brake lights wont turn off

Most common prob is on the upper part of brake pedal there is a rubber piece that rests against the brake switch when your press and release the brake. Look for plastic on the floor...without the plastic at the top of the pedal the switch stays closed.

The plastic piece is an oem part. They always have it in stock since its a common thing to break. Leave your brake switch alone don't worry about that. When you get your battery taken care of push in the switch and you will see the lights turn off. If you don't want To go to Honda just get a bolt with a washer and a nut that fits and you will be good forever unless the brake switch craps out.
