Default Losing Weight

EDIT: Add to this thread how you manage your weight.

I am always surprised to see overweight individuals driving gutted cars at the race track. What is the point of carrying 50 to 100 lbs (or more) on your belly and having to live without air conditioning in your car?

Over the past year I decided to put on 30 lbs so that I could demonstrate weight loss. I intend to lose about 15-20 lbs over the next 4 months and share with you how I do it. I do not use any dieting or training gimmicks that are popular today. I am going to demonstrate everything I do through my videos. I intend to make this COMPLETE. I will show you sample meal plans, food recipes, what to buy at the grocery store, my workout routine...etc. Thanks!

I have seen your car it is very cool! While weight reduction in a car is very straightforward, many guys have trouble figuring out how to deal with their own weight. The best information I have found is in older strength training books. They focus on drug-free training unlike some of the garbage we see today...it's good stuff. I hope to share what I know with you guys.

Subscribed! I just picked up rock climbing to replace my exercise routine of free weights and machines. I'm planning on doing an hour of rock climbing a day at my college gym in order to stay in shape and tone up.

I weigh 125 lbs so maybe that is always a huge helping aid for me

good luck. its a lot easier to spend $1000 instead of losing 10lbs of fat.

It takes motivation and responsibility. I'm 5'10" and went from being 245lbs to 165lbs over a 3 year period. A size 38-40 waist to 30. This was all achieved by using the LoseIt app on the iPhone to track calorie intake. If you adhere to it strictly as I did you will learn quickly what food types are worth eating and not. Nothing worse than eating a calorie bomb for one meal and have the rest of the day starving cause you screwed yourself for a moment of weakness.

My exercise weapon of choice was p90x for 3.5 rounds which then evolved to running. I now have 2 full marathons under my belt. Since running is the most inefficient body movement it burns the most calorie per minute.

I could go down to the 150s if it weren't for my wife having a complex of me weighing the same as she is while being 6 months pregnant.
