Default Crazy Russian Detailing

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd throw this out there.. I got a porter cable random orbit buffer, various pads, and chemicals/cleaners. For a reasonable price to cover my time, I can detail your S (or DD, etc). Those of you who know me I can be pretty anal about my car, and I'll treat yours the same way as I treat mine.

I can't guarantee getting every single scratch and swirl out. If it's deep to the point where it catches on a finger nail, I won't be able to get it out. I don't want to cut into the clearcoat too far. But I should be able to make most light/medium scratches and swirls/hologramming disappear.

I'll wash the car, dry it, claybar, run over the whole car with swirl remover, polish it, and then put a coat of glaze and sealant on top, followed by a wax. I'll clean the wheels and add a brake dust protectant to them. I'll also clean and protect the softtop, condition the leather, protect the dash, and shin etsu the softtop or hardtop seals, and clean the engine bay. Probably ~8 hours worth of work in all.

Since people keep asking, I'll post up my detailing pricing (subject to change, yada yada yada):

Complete S2000 detail: $240.

Bigger cars will cost a bit more, I haven't quite figured out how much more. To Be Determined.

If there's interest, feel free to PM me... I've done a few S2000's from here on S2ki. Alfy's, Nismo270's, Twanny's, Watch0bak's, Neiman's, to name a few.

Here is a brief album summary of Before/After pictures, and there's others scattered about in this thread.

I also worked on Alfy's car the other day, here is a sample before/after picture. Look ma, no swirls!

Clean on the inside clean on the outside. Shiny, swirly free, and showroom ready. Andrey did an excellent job and I was updated at every step of the process. I just don't let anyone touch my car.

Who better to detail an s2000 other than another s2000 owner?

Thank you for that constructive post Mike.

Yes, Fastfour does detailing too. I'm sure he does an excellent job as well. I am providing an alternative in case anyone is interested.

Good job crazy russian! My car isn't 'ready' for this type of attention, but it's cool that you're putting this out there.

Good looking out Mike! While I'm not crazy (or Russian) I too am an owner and have been known to make old things look new again. Nice pics. Any close ups?

OP - What do you charge for your full detail? I'll be selling one of my s2k's soon and might have it detailed
