I bought my deck lid from ebay and they matched the color paint. You can ask big nel on how it looks and fits, cause he was trying his hardest to figure out the difference between my rep and his actual oem one lol.

I actually didn't use the OEM install kit except for the OEM Honda weatherstripping. The lip came with some hardware that will line up the holes perfectly underneath your bumper. However, instead of using the rivets that were provided, that are used to permanently bolt the provided metal brackets to the lip, I opted for small bolts, washers, and nuts so that the metal brackets were not permanent in case I wanted to repaint the lip again later. Other than that I didn't need to use any double-sided tape, nor did I have to drill any holes under my bumper. I really wanted a clean almost OEM install and I'm pretty satisfied with this one.

Check out this thread below dedicated to the eBay AP1 deck lid for concerns regarding fitment, quality, etc.

Did the mounting points line up perfectly? Are you satisfied?

I want to get one too but I don't know if its going to be compatible with my trunk bike rack. Could you post some pics after you install it showing how high it is and how far it sticks out?
