Default Dorset Evening Sun Run - 4th May

The plan is to meet on Poole Quay, at the 'Quay for my car' event: http://www.pooleview.co.uk/CarQuay.htm

Then we'll head off 8.00pm-ish, over to the Purbecks for a summer evening thrash around the shooting ranges (route to be confirmed - suggestions welcome), finishing up at Swanage for chips and low/no alcohol drinks by the sea.

It will be a miserable night out if it rains - no-one wants soggy chips and their shandy watered down - so go-ahead will be weather dependent, so we'll plan for the 4th of May event, but if it's wet we'll postpone to the next dry one (1st June, 6th July, 3rd Aug).

If you're interested add your name to the list below:

Chris Harris

Jerry-Attric

I'm about an hour away, like the idea of popping down for the night if the weather holds out.

OK, here’s the plan:

Meet outside the Jolly Sailor pub, arrive any time between 6.00pm and 7.45 – I’m not sure how we will know who each other is though – does anyone have any distinguishing features, hideous deformities or maybe some Honda branded merchandise they can wear/carry?

We’ll aim to leave the Quay by 8.00pm, towards Sandbanks for the chain ferry over to Studland. Then we’ll drive to Corfe, do a loop of some of the lanes, stop for a photo opportunity on Grange Hill (if there’s still enough light), before heading to Swanage for chips and non-alcoholic refreshment.

If folk want to bring passengers who don’t appreciate over-enthusiastic driving, we’ll keep the pace appropriate for them.

I’m not precious, so if anyone wants to suggest any changes, feel free to do so. If not, see you at the Jolly Sailor, and……..

MAY THE 4th BE WITH YOU!
