FS: 2001 AP1 - stock - VERY CLEAN
Much against my better judgement, I'm putting my 2001 S2000 up for sale. It doesn't get as much love as she used to, and I'm in the market for something a bit newer. It's completely machically stock (save for HKS exhaust), and purrs beautifully. There are ZERO mechanical issues with the car, and no CEL. Oil changed every 3 to 5000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic and OEM oil filter. Diff and trans fluid last changed in Feb of 2011. Currently has 103,066 miles (most are highway - I take the train to work; but who cares, it's a Honda!)
No accidents, clean title in hand.
The Good:
-The car is mechanically stock
-Very clean (non-smoker and I dont allow food in the car)
-The car is detailed atleast 2-3 times a year and recieves a clean wash atleast once a month
-Mechanically perfect for an 11 year old car (feel free to bring a mechanic)
-No tears in top
-30+ MPG easily on the highway.
The Bad:
-The front bumper has some dings and scratches - I'd say 7/10 (and thats being picky).
-From a distance and any non-car person, you'd never tell. But I'm a wash&wax nut, so I notice the tiny scratches.
-Some windshield dings
I've taken pretty good care of the car last few years (purchased in 2009 from a dealership in South Texas). The only 'work' performed on it was with Clovis and it was to alleviate wind noise. It's now quieter than any other S2k I've ridden in at highway speeds. Aesthetically, some choices mods have been added, including:
-Rick's leather center console
-Rick's leather steering wheel
-Rick's rear S2k emblem
-Titanium shift knob
-JVC Headunit w/ iPod connection (tweeters in doors)
-Black Work Emotion 11R (17x7.0 and 17x8.0 [not an ULTRAFLUSH! fan])
-JS2k rear tail and licenseplate LED's
-Seat bolt-locks w/ unique key
Also included in the purchase are:
-Rick's front license plate bracket
-Tonneau cover (not pictured - its in the attic)
-AP1 wheels w/ Rick's S Emblems (these are w/ snow tires, but can be changes out to whatever you prefer)
The car is sitting in my garage currently and I would like to sell it in a reasonably quick manner. Feel free to email/PM or post and I try will answer any questions you might have.
Below are pictures that were taken this week (the weather in Dallas isn't cooperating so well, so apologies for the strange lighting).
Asking $12,000 OBO. Please do not low-ball. NO TRADES - NO PARTING OUT. Local's (Dallas/Ft.Worth area) receive preference.

EDIT: Yes, the A&M emblem does come off, but not until you purchase it.
