Zent's S2000 ownership experience
I am proud to now be part of the s2000 community! I wanted to create this thread to document my experiences with the Honda S2000. It is going to be mostly videos and pictures. Here are a couple pictures of my s2000.

As you can see, I have already gone with a 255 square set up. I will discuss and demonstrate my set up in greater detail through future videos. The first video I am uploading is about the AP1 valve retainer issue:

Thanks guys! Good job on the upgrade Carbon Blue. It is definitely worth the peace of mind. I will update next weekend with my tires, wheels, alignment, and sway bar changes. I should be able to get a driving video up These cars are a ridiculous amount of fun and so simple to work on. I love it!

Hello again. After my circuit theory class tomorrow I am headed down to so-cal to pick up my good old lincoln mig welder. I plan to weld my upper control arm mounts while I am down there as a preventative measure. I am planning to shoot a short film about my suspension, alignment, and tire set up. The idea is to address this issue: Is the ap1 really plagued by "snap-oversteer" or is the driver/set-up to blame?
After I dialed my settings in, my opinion of the AP1 changed dramatically
And here is a pic. I just hit 150 thousand miles!

Yes of course! What oil do you use? I have been running mobil 1 and it seems to burn anywhere from .5 to 1.5 quarts every 1000 miles. I was reading that these cars like to drink mobil 1. I am going to try something else my next oil change.

Very cool. What size rear tires are those? I made the mistake of buying 225/50/16 Ventus V12's and they're about 1" narrower than the S-02 225's.

I use Pennzoil Ultra and haven't had any issues with burning oil.

I may try that. I did Royal Purple and I burned a quart in 2k in the S. I switched to Castrol GTX HM in my Accord with 200k miles and went from losing 1 to 1.5qt every 2k miles through my main seal to NOTHING in the 8k miles since I switched.
