Default ** 2/25/12 Dinner Meet @ Twin Peaks **

It's that time again! Who's ready for some good food, good friends and good times? Mark your calendars for our next dinner meet...

When:
Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 5pm
Where: Twin Peaks, 7007 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa
Everyone is responsible for their own food, beverage and gratuity expenses. Being a large group, don't be surprised if an automatic 17+% gratuity is added to your bill (this is typical in the restaurant industry).

Somebody wanna throw out some restaurant suggestions? See the Places to go for monthly meets thread for some ideas. So far, we have...
Twin Peaks
Mekong River
Zio's
Olive Garden
Hideaway Pizza (Broken Arrow)

Please indicate (1) if you plan on attending, (2) whether or not you will be bringing a guest so we can get an accurate headcount for dinner reservations and (3) which restaurant(s) you prefer. A will be placed next to the restaurant name above for every vote it gets. The restaurant with the most stars is where we'll go. Sound fair?

List of Attendees:
davidjs2k+1 (David & Jean, 2008 Apex Blue Pearl)
tulsas2k (Jacob, 2000 Silverstone)

Would the 18th work better for anyone? I just found out that the BMT pre-drive is on the 25th.

That would be up to Ch0pper. He runs the BMTs now. Not sure if it'd be a good idea since you've never been on a BMT before. Anyhow, the pre-drive is probably gonna get moved so the dinner meet date probably won't change. Need more restaurant input!

It's too late to have the February dinner meet on the 18th, but if you want to meet up tomorrow, that's still a possibility. See
Potential impromptu S2K meetup with Cody in Tulsa this Saturday, February 18, 2012.

Come on, folks! Need more responses, otherwise we'll have to cancel this due to lack of interest... which would be super disappointing after last month's turnout in OKC.

Are there more people in Tulsa than OKC? i think it's about a two hour drive both ways from OKC. I'm trying to save up for some parts and don't wanna drive that far and waste all that money. :S

I'm at least 50% sure I will attend. I'm in Tulsa for the morning and not sure if I want to hang around for 5 hours waiting for the dinner.

Anybody want to chime in on why their interest is so low?

Day of the week?
Time of the day?
Weather?
Too many Spring cleaning chores?
Family priorities make committing difficult?
Cost of gas and food is a luxury after the Christmas bills?
Doing taxes and need $$ for Uncle Sam?
I've gotten fat and lazy over the winter?
Too much sand on the roads after the huge snowfall we had?
Meeting to eat is okay but we need to do something in addition to that?
My car is sick and I'm depressed?
I'm shy and it seems like it's hard to get to know some of the people?
