Hello All,
As many of you know, I have organized a Poker Run four the last three years of WTD. this event has grown and I believe it is looked forward to by everyone. Regrettably, I may not be able to make the event this year.

As some of you know,my car was DOA at DBR last year. the stealership in Knoxville cobbled it together and I nursed it home, but my car has some serious issues that I have run out of answers for. The supercharger spun off a pulley on the way home from DBR. I have been working since September getting the thing dismounted repaired and some missing parts replaced. Today I got it all back together and the voila - the car is dead! It will not fire,and I suspect that the AEM ECU has failed, lost its map or some other incomprehensible problem. Anyway, the car is garaged for the winter and I will have it towed to a tech I trust in March. But if he can't get me on the road, I will be unable to attend. That being a possibility, we will need someone to take over the job of putting the Poker Run together.

I hope you all will forgive me for backing out. It is the one thing I do each year that gives me real joy, and I feel bad needing to set it aside. If anyone wants to take this chore over, I will help in whatever way I can.

This coming WTD we should get multiple people/tables recording peoples hands. It was a long line last time and it would be great to get that shorter . Get mikey to do it!

Ken, Last year being my first WTD, LINESUPER (Dave) was the first S2000 owner I meet up on the dragon. I really enjoyed the Poker Run last year and want to do this again this year, If you need someone to step up and take charge of this event, I am your man for the job, but I will not be able to do this and and the rookie run on the same day. If so get Dave to contact me and give the information to take on this task. Sorry Dave for your issues with the car man. Let me know something. Thanks David

.....just sorta take it for granted...that he is watching over my spelling.....

 

I'll take charge of it if dave can't come, but I'll sit stand-by in case dave can get to WTD
