Default Will a tonneau cover go on under a hardtop?

Calling those with hardtops...

Do you use a tonneau cover over your softop before you put your hardtop on for neatness?

Will it go on?

Picking a hardtop up on Saturday so just wondered.

(I know I said I'd never bother with a hardtop, I just wondered what all the fuss was about. I know I'll regret it on the first crisp frosty morning when the sun is out...)

No it won't - it says so somewhere in the (car) owners manual.

A pity really - it would be very neat, but I suppose you can't really see it anyway behind the seats.

PS I'd just like to take an enormous amount of credit for this being may first 'helpful' response....

You can make it fit though by modifying the tonneau a bit

I didn't like the look of the folded top through the HT back window so just tinted it

Definately it won't fit. You can buy one from the following site which fits with the hardtop.

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/780...-for-hardtops/

I bought a canvas one from this guy for 2 reasons

1) For better looks
2) It protects the softop from dicouloration on sunny days here in Greece. I have seen many S2000 here in Greece with discouloration on the exposed soft top material when the hood is retracted. At least to protect the softop while you have the hardtop on cause using summer time the tonneau cover is a pita

I wanted something like this, but ended up going a bit ghetto and using a towel instead, lol

I would have preferred a black towel, but dark blue is the best i could find in the shop, doesn't look too bad, better than just the roof. Also whilst i was at it i wrapped elastic bands around the roof hooks and cabled tied the latches themselves, coupled with the towel, seems to have made it much quieter & rattle free back there, bonus
