Is there anything i can use instead of Shin-etsu Grease?
My local honda dealer doesn't stock it so before getting them to order some in was wondering if there is anything i can buy from somewhere like halfords to use instead?
Any ideas would be great
Thanks,
Ross

Here we go the real deal-

The divers stuff gets good reports, but I'd go for the real thing as it's not just silicone it has other chemicals in it, strangely though I'm doing mine today.

My local dealer supplied a replacement called carbo-flo (from memory). I can check the part number over the weekend.
You only get a tiny amount and an applicator sponge but it goes a long way. Works a treat.

i use that halfords stuff - I cant say if it definitively helps or not. It doesnt stop the all-to-common passenger side leak though.
it wont harm things using it.
