I’m upgrading to a new car and unfortunately can’t afford to keep this as well so I’ll sadly be saying goodbye after 6 fun filled years of ownership.

All the information you should need is below, you may have seen my misfire thread which I’m happy to report is now resolved, I wanted to make sure it was all sorted before selling on to someone and now it is. The new owner will therefore benefit from a number of new parts as a result of me tracking down the offending component (dirty injector)

The Car

- 2000 W plate (Private plate on pic not included)
- Silverstone Silver with red/black interior
- Hardtop and Stand
- 3 previous owners, all have been from this forum – I’ve had it 6 years and it has been garaged for all but last 3 months due to recent house move which has a full garage, it is outside the garage which is well off the road
- 53k miles
- Never tracked
- Serviced 7th Sept 2011/MOT runs until 26th May 2012 (8 months remaining)
- Full Honda Service History until 2010, Serviced by trusted independent since then with me supplying all Oil and Honda parts.
- Mountain of paperwork from all owners
- Run on Optimax/Vpower for my ownership (and before I believe) bar ONE tank of emergency Super Unleaded

1 x remainder of tube of BMW rear screen cleaner

Condition

• Very good condition, I’d say 7.8/10, one small dent that has been there as long as I’ve had it which you can’t always notice.
• Slight frays on inside of hood but both arms padded and prone points proactively protected with black felt/underlay patches
• Slightly worn bolsters on seats which is to be expected at 11yrs of age
• Scratch on rear plastic window which looks like a small tear but isn’t, though maybe has the scope to be one (being honest here!) – It happened after the roof had been down whilst the hardtop was on. I think the plastic could be bonded/easily fixed by someone who knows how to – see the two window pics above.
• Previous owner had painted calipers red, I have taken most of it off but they look a bit messy – happy to paint them silver or leave for new owner to paint the colour of their choice
• Geo done a while ago, a few bolts were seized but had enough movement to get them set to what I needed and within tolerance – copper greased at the time but not done since, drives absolutely fine though and tracks exactly as you’d expect - full reports will be provided

I’m pricing at £6500£6000 ovno, the Car is based just north of Leeds – no timewasters or test pilots please, if you want to test drive you will need to have fully comprehensive insurance for it, if you don’t, a blast through the Yorkshire Dales with me driving is as good as it will get

I've added some pics of the rear window to better illustrate the scratch I mentioned. I've also taken a few pics of the hardtop being on - please excuse the quality, it was on my phone and it was raining. I'll get some better ones once the sun is out and I find my camera following the house move!

I have also checked the paperwork and consequently amended the number of previous owners down to 3 before me - wasn't sure and did the poor thing a dis service with the original estimate of 5!

This was sold to the first person to come and see it but he has since let me down.

All paperwork in order with regards to the plates etc so available for immediate sale

nice looking car! someone should snap this up at that price its a bargain! i paid £6k for mine and it had 20k more miles on the clock, and didnt come with the hardtop (worth £1k), fipk (£200) etc etc. if this was for sale in february when i bought mine) i would've had it off you! someone buy this!!!

No way near local, all the way down Southwest in Plymouth. Just found out the tonneau cover doesn't fit with the HT on, only reason that I wanted one...

Aah, no it doesn't, if you want a bit more protection you can get a mat to sit under the retracted hood - the buyer gets one with mine :-)
