CR CTR Shift Knob

CR CTR Shift Knob
I just wanted to post that I recently replaced my stock shift knob on my MY00 S2000 with a FD2 Civic Type-R (CTR) shift knob that is exactly the same as the CR shift knob, but with red lettering. The shifts feel shorter now as the knob is shorter compared to the MY00 one. In addition, I feel more connected to the shifting action while the ball shaped knob feels more natural for shifting. I'd definitely recommend it as a reasonably priced upgrade for the older S2000 shift knobs.
The part number is 54102-SMT-E01.

I picked up mine on Ebay recently for less than $40.
Ebay Link - $35.99
Installation:
1. Use a 14mm wrench to loosen the nut under the knob. Turn clockwise to loosen the nut.
2. Turn the knob to loosen (can't remember which direction, but it shouldn't be too difficult to get off after you get the nut off).

Totally agree..I'm currently about to by that exact one ...my only question is does the knob sit too high up on the gear stick at all? I don't want the gear boot to sink down is all!!
