After a successful initial meeting of several South West S2k owners (and friends!) we all thought a meet in August would be a good idea, especially since a number of people had to drop out at the last minute.

We're up for suggestions of routes, meeting points and pubs at which to finish, however for those unaware the route taken in July's meet was this. Doing the hill ascent of Cheddar gorge (rather than the descent) was one good suggestion from James. Any further ideas/suggestions are more than welcome!

Doodled, but I am quite flexible for most days of the week. I'm up for doing the same route buy in reverse, and then staying on the road from Cheddar Gorge. Some great straights as Russ mentioned. Ends up at a nice pub, good parking and next to a main route (A39) back to Bristol or obviously the other direction (cant remember what that was, sorry if that's not a good route home for anyone)

But that's just one suggestion.

Apologies for going quiet on the last one chaps, had to travel at short notice with work - glad it happened, certainly hope to join the next - route looks stunning.

I had a quick drive around Cheddar gorge the other day-the hill climb is better than the descent. Almost crashed into a massive sheep though! turns out the gorge is home to loads of these!. They're HUGE! Couple of Scoobies driving round there too

 

Haha did you also see them on last months meet? On one of the left turns going down the gorge they were standing right next to the road.
