Sorry for raging, just hate it when stuff that should be really simple and easy becomes a massive faff about for no reason.

Thats exactly what I did, but because I had more than the <insert arbitrary integer here> allocated amount of photos per thread it wouldn't let me post them.

I tried that as well, it said the same thing and I thought splitting into 3 (or god knows how many more) posts was taking the piss.

Try using the slideshow option in photobucket. More fiddling around althouhg it seems to work.

Not been on vbulletin since 2002.

25 images per post. Uploads to gallery in queues of 10.

Moved to site info.

There is a limit on the number of photos per topic because there is a very popular DoS/XSS technique which loads a large number of images on a single page. Reducing the number of images mitigates the problem.

Best practice is to:

1. create a new public Album
2. upload the images ( 100MB at a time, 10MB max per image) to that album
3. Post some of the best (up to 25) and include a link to the album to see the rest. To include a link to an album, just paste a link to it in the post. It will be recognized as an album and be displayed as such with the necessary linkage. For example:

Pasting:

Code:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/gallery/album/15989-test/
Looks like:

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/gallery/album/15989-test/

To include the images you want to show, view the image in the gallery:

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/gallery/i...0-img-1713jpg/

Click Share Image then click on the Image Link item and copy and paste it into your post within IMG tags. You probably need two windows to do this. Improvements to this kludgy method are in the works. You can experiment using preview post to make sure it looks right.
