Usually 15 psi is the safe limit on pump, dont know if it would be even lower on a log.

Conditions while dynoing are very controlled, and hopefully theres a fan, etc, so engine is a lot less likely to knock than when on the road.

Congrats! Great numbers. That's a very interesting, one-of-a-kind kit that I wish SOS had decided to sell. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.

If you're planning to drive the tires off it, then yeah 16psi is a bit more than most folks here seem comfortable with. I'm at 14.4psi on my SOS kit, and I'm planning to cap it off at 14psi for my next tune. Of course, the numbers seem to creep higher every year... Not too long ago, everyone thought 8 or 9psi was the most the F20/F22 could handle on stock compression.

This is a very interesting point. I remember the same thing. In another thread(his turbo kit thread) Real Street was talking about running big boost numbers like 20ish/low 20's on his stock set up and when people were questioning him he demanded that is in the tune. I have faith in these little motors. They are built strong as hell from the factory as is the testament of 200k mile s2000's. 200k+ miles is impressive never mind that the motor revs to china! Impressive. I may look to monitor the egt's. But in the other thread about psi vs exhaust pressure, that looks to be an interesting read and my shed more light on if a(my) set-up is too much or not.

Thanks for the kind words Ken! You have to check it out. Its.... stupid! Just fast!
