I was able to add this image into my gallery
I am however totally not able to view it or post it larger
I still despise this so called upgrade

The top portion of the pic is the overview of the Rochester Quarry
The bottom portion is a close up of one corner showing how close the houses are
It just amazes me some of those houses have a back yard that backs up to a drop of a couple hundred feet

This latest round of snow is going to delay my selection of boulders

In on page 1. Woke up to a dusting on the ground covering everything. Drove in to work very carefully. Roads were clear and it did not appear like salt was laid down. Sidewalks though are a different story. Looks like the S is not going to be out untill we get more rain.

Same here. I'm thinking I'll be lucky to get the S out by August at the rate things are going...

Ok, check this out

MARK- you got a big hole in the ground near you too
2540 S Union St, Spencerport, NY 14559-2232

Give this a try

FIRST SELECT THIS LINK
http://www.bing.com/maps/default.asp...c+ny&FORM=MIRE

IN THE UPPER RIGHT SELECT Road
IN THE DROP DOWN MENU SELECT Bird's eye

Pan to the right, and then zoom in
You can also spin the angle you are looking at to get a more complete understanding

I JUST LOVE BING MAPS!!!!!!!!

I thought of you this morning going to work on summer tires
Things were so nasty here, I was in 4WD for a ways
It seems the township of West Brighton decided they did not need to go plow or salt their section of East River Road this morning
I say evidence of two off-road excursions, one of them was just off the road, down into the rough of the golf course and back up onto the road, the other was a bit more dramatic, including running over a road sign and bouncing off a tree.

Glad your morning commute was without drama!

I have been storing my , CRX-Si for the winter since 1992
In 2010, or was it 2009, anyways, one of those years was the forst time I ever got it on the road in March

And a second bit of trivia, the month of April in 2002 had 5 weeks, not all weeks were full
The 4th week was Sun 21 to Sat 27
I took delivery of my car on Tues 23, and took off work Wed 24 to do my break in miles
It got up to 83 degrees that day, it was an awesome "summer day" in April
Let's hope we get something like that this year!!!

Thanks Doug and your comment about "when will the kids learn?" was also on my mind as very gingerly drove in. Granted there was a dusting on the ground but with colder temps I could see the RS-2's had no grip at all and braking distances were waaay longer than yesterday.

I actually installed the Michelin OEM's last weekend only to realize that the one tire I had not checked for air was flat. If next week continues to look as bleak as this one, I will get the Michelin fixed and put the all-seasons on the car until late April.
