TechFlex in the engine bay
So i have been cleaning up my engine bay and really liked the look of nylon braided tubing. I really didn't want to go through the hassle of buying all the different diameters and the price was a little much for me. So i stumbled across this cool product that i think looks just as good as the real deal. Its called Techflex, this is the best site i found that carries pretty much all of their products.... http://www.wirecare.com/land_SleevingMain.asp
Here are some pictures of what it looks like in the engine bay...

I bougth 10 feet of the .38" heavy wall for $9.00... http://www.wirecare.com/products.asp?prodline=HW
And 10 feet of the .50" super duty for $15.00... http://www.wirecare.com/products.asp?prodline=SDN
I also bough some heat resistant material to protect my AC line from header heat sense i removed my heat shield, it works very well.

Thanks! I kind of like the empty look the CAI's give. The only reason i went with the FIPK is becuase i love the AUT plate and i wanted to use the bumper scoops on both sides to give air to the brakes when i start tracking the car. I just half to cut them out and run some tubing...

I plan to tecflex the smaller tubes on the intake manifold as well but they are a b*^ch and i can't seem to yank them off even after using my heat gun (moms old hair dryer). I was thinking about using the techflex F6 which has a seam the entire length for easy instalation, but i really don't like the pattern compared to the regular braided sleaves. If anyone has any tips on how to get the damn things off i would appriciate it!
