Axle Nuts All Right Hand?
I'm having trouble removing the right rear axle nut and just want to confirm it's standard right hand thread.
Thanks in advance,
Rob

getting them off by hand is tricky, you need to exert almost 200 ft lbs torque or more to crack them loose, a regular breaker bar wouldn't do it for me. Many people need to use a breaker bar with a 3 foot+ extension tube on it. My Ingersol Rand air gun (400 ft lbs) zapped them off with ease though. Nuts are Righty-tighty, left-loosey. Air gun FTW.

Thanks guys, I swapped out my left rear bearing last year and my battery powered impact gun spun the axle nut off no problem. I'm going to borrow my neighbor's heavy duty air gun and give that a try. I do have a 3/4 x 36 inch breaker bar but I twisted off a 3/4 to 1/2 inch adapter last time I tried it.
Thanks again,
Rob
