Hi. ive had my s2000 since summer and it has been a complete please to own and drive. Although over the past couple of weeks i have noticed a vibration on acceleration coming from the rear of the car. When I let off the throttle the vibration stops but press the pedal again and I can feel it again. Ive done a fair amount of research and it does seem like the cv joint is at fault which sounds like a common problem. I got my local garage to have a look today but they couldnt see anything wrong and said without replacing the driveshafts/propshaft it would be hard to fix.
So now im a bit stuck. ive got a few track days coming up soon so really would like to get this sorted asap. What experiances have you guys (and gals) had. Do you have any garages that you use that are aware of the problem? Im based in High Wycombe but dont mind travelling to fix this.

lowered? driveshaft spacers needed perhaps?

sorry should have said before, the car is 100% standard, so no need for driveshaft spacers i believe as they are only needed on lowered cars, does that sound right?

Seen this a few times before, just swap the inner driveshaft cup around and will sort it out, it such a small wear inside and you can't even see it.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Is it actually as simple as that? How big is the job? Average price from a garage, including yourselves?

Need to take both shaft out, both cup out, clean up all the oil grease, swap cup around, new grease in, secure the rubber boot, put back in. Looking at 1-1.5 hours labour maximum. So no more than £100.
