Default Spa Francorchamps Trackday - 2011!

Ok all, it looks like Spa with Bookatrack is going to be Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd August 2011!

It's not up on the BaT site yet, but should be in a few days.

It's not an event we can get any discount on, but I think I might be able to wangle a garage or 2 if I ask Jonny nicely (no promises!)

Spa is clearly the big cheese of all circuits and one you have to tick off.

This will be my 4th year at Spa, and I still always want to go back. Click in the video link here to see what it's like!:

Or in an S &feature=related

Travel is best by chunnel and we normally go on the Sunday before, about midday-ish. Normally a great convoy of cars going down, and I will be heading down with my old Exige mates.

Then 2 days at the track, and home on the Tuesday evening / Wed night.

Costs are roughly as per below:

10-12 tanks of fuel
£100ish return on chunnel
250/375 Euro 2/3 nights at Radisson
Bar and food kitty
Track time £695ish two days tracktime (you can normally just do one or the other, but both is best)
AA Euro cover....£50ish

Here's the last couple of years threads to keep you interested! All the info and likely answers to questions is in there

Might be worth asking Jonny if he'll do a pay monthly scheme like last year?

I've always wanted to do a track day at Spa Mark, and now I seem to have the right car for it too.

You can do it a fair bit cheaper.

Figures are savings:
Only do one, rather than two days - £350
Use a ferry instead of the tunnel - £50
You can stay a lot cheaper - £200
Fuel - I used way less than 10/12 tanks of fuel - 3/4 on the circuit, and 2/3 getting there and back. Say 7 at most and that's a £150 saving
