Squealing when turning left?
The other day I was driving along and all of a sudden I heard a very annoying sound. It was as if I ran over a metal object, like a stop sign and like I was dragging it. I pulled over, looked underneath the car and saw nothing. I did a couple hard braking attempts to see if it was the pads, but that that wasn't the problem. I took it home, put it up on the jack and saw nothing unusual. The next morning the sound was gone, but now when the car is warm it does it when I only make tight left turns. I drove in circles this morning and it starts just before I have the wheel at full lock. Now this is the only time it does it, but it is doing it consistently. I can tell that it is definitely coming from the right front wheel area. The car is a 2007 with 44 thousand miles on it, original brakes and pads and its not modified. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me. You have 3 common symptoms of a bearing starting to fail. It only makes noise when you take left hand turns because you are putting pressure on the bad bearing (front right), it gets worse when hot, and the metallic grinding sound. Is the sound "rotational"? If so, I would bet on a bearing.
