that breather tube that's going to the intake - is it OK to cancel it all together?
The only problem I see with an NA motor is that you'd put your crancase in a vacuum which is what the crankvents do. I personally don't like that because I think it works the seals in a bad way because air will be pulled in by them.

Macr88 how did you cap off your PCV and who makes your catch can?

Im looking to do a better set up, right now I have a DIY catch can after the PCV and nothing on the front breather. Im not sure which way to go but I maybe would like to eliminate the PCV part.

What I have now -

Nothing on the front -

If you can hold off a bit I might do the valve cover mod soon and will hopefully be able to test it at the track.
I'm still catching more oil than I'd like to and my only intended purpose for the catch can was for it to help catch oil mist and prevent it from getting in to the intake.

Here's where I picked up the catch can from. If you do get it route it opposite of how they tell you to. Because they tell you to have it exit out the side port it doesn't take much oil before it'll creep up the side while cornering.

Thanks. The valve cover mod youre doing is that the one where you drill the holes in the baffles or another one? If that works are you planning on even having a catch can?

Yes, I'll be drilling the holes and the catch can is meant to catch oil mist so ye I will still be running it.

Ok. Also what did you use to block of your PCV on the valve cover side.

Thanks to macr88!

Valve cover swiss cheese! I'm using all -8AN lines and fittings... A -8AN t 1/4" NPT adapter fitting can be made to work with the 14mm thread for the AP2 PCV valve. Other than that.... it's straight forward. The catch tank has a 3/4" NPT fitting on the bottom which can be used for a -10AN drain back to the oil pan... however, i really think that the swiss cheese has solved the problem.
