Custom Sector One Design / Pro Autosports SC build
Custom supercharger build – AP1
Designed and Fabricated by Sector One Design / Pro Autosports Inc
Design goals:
-Minimize weight and complexity
-Minimize charge pipe length, volume, and efficiency – enhanced throttle response
-Optimize intercooler design: size, location, and flow distribution
-Keep mass centralized and as low as possible
-Complete bolt-on – no cutting or drilling
-Track ready
Execution:
-Rotrex C30-94 compressor @ 10psi mounted in AC compressor location - laser cut and tig welded stainless steel mounting bracket
-V-mount radiator/intercooler – ambient air to rad and IC, no restrictions, custom radiator using C&R core
-Hybrid "vertical flow" intercooler with carbon fiber end tanks – end tanks optimized for flow distribution using CFD and flow bench testing - intake temperatures are extremely low
-Mocal laminova oil cooler
-Short aluminum charge pipes
-SC oil reservoir mounted in grill for air cooling
Peripherals:
-AEM F/IC
-ID 725 injectors
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-Synapse Synchronic BOV
-Prototype anti-fuel starve accumulator
Still to do:
-Final dyno tuning – currently road tuned and runs very well
-Plumb BOV for recirculation
-Crankcase breather/catch can
-Final finish on IC endtanks
-IC exhaust ducting
I'll update with dyno results but I expect them to be similar to an AP1 High Boost KW system. This application is being conservatively tuned for continuous track abuse.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, are you going to do something about the lack of flow through the intercooler? Without a larger vent in the hood, there's no negative pressure gradient on the outlet side of the intercooler to increase flow and cool the charge. I imagine the air flowed into the front side of the intercooler has nowhere to go other than around the intercooler rather than through it.

Great looking kit. The CF endtanks are sexy.
My only concern would be the placement of the Rotrex reservoir. With it mounted up front like that I would be concerned that road debris may puncture the lines or make a nice big hole in the side of reservoir itself. Since that is your SC's lifeblood any damage to that reservoir = buy another SC which would suck.
