Default Rear Suspension Part

I found this today, and it looks bent. Does anyone know what it is for? It's attached to the rear lower arm on the passenger side...

Rear brake bias, best you straighten it out. It basically throw's more/less brake bias depending on how the rear is loaded. eg under heavy braking, front will nose dive and rear will lift, thus causing the less rear bias to avoid brake lock up and ABS activation.

These can bend, if it's been idiotically lowered, if it still is, it will possibly happen again.

Are you sure?

It's a rear load sensor but I thought it was just for the head light adjustment.

The car is lowered less than 1 inch, so I don't think that's the cause. I was hoping I could just remove it as the cable is in the way of the roll bar I'm fitting...

Jap - you think I need it

Aus - you think I don't (it's a track only car)

Suggestions?

Thanks guys

So, can I just remove this then, or will my car get upset?

Why remove it though? Is it in the way?

The sensor is not in the way, but the cable that connects to it is. I will have to re-route it through some other hole if I need to keep it connected, so I was just trying to save myself the hassle.
