In May of this year, DSport magazine held a Honda S2000 forced induction shootout. Seven of the leading manufacturers of supercharger and turbocharger systems were involved. The magazine's ultimate goal was to offer a completely consistent testing environment to focus specifically on the individual forced induction systems. Manufactures were required to provide a 2.2L S2000 and install identical wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, and fluids. Then, the cars were subjected to a battery of tests including dyno testing, drivability evaluations, emissions, cost, installation and maintenance ease, then finally, on track evaluations at the hands of a professional driver at Streets of Willow Raceway. Kraftwerks, ScienceofSpeed, Vortech, Greddy, Ultimate Racing participated (there were two last minute cancelations). ScienceofSpeed provided our 2004 Honda S2000 for evaluation with an off-the-shelf stage 2 system installed a week before the event.
The September issue will be on the newsstands next week - take a look at the results! The September issue also includes a DVD with a complete video production of the event.

Going to pick this up asap.
Looking forward to seeing how my UR kit performed and wondering why other companies inline pro full-race etc did not participate.

It is missing the turbo kits that are the most popular/most highly regarded here, so it's not really a SC vs. Turbo comparison at all. I mean, what percentage of turbocharged owners here are either Greddy or UR? But I guess that is alright, since it's meant to be a track comparison, and not a street one.
