Default Need help finding bracket...

Like the title says, i need 2 brackets (1 for left, and 1 for right side), they hold the front bumper snug to the fender.

It's the bracket that those bolts 6,7, bolt to.

Please help me find them on

www.hondaautomotiveparts.com .

I went to a local stealership but they were useless.

Not sure which part you are pointing out exactly...but look in the "Bumper" section on Majestic.

I'm not sure what they're called either but I'd emailed him back then and described them as best I'd could, he'd then sent me a pic to confirmed the brackets. From there, I'd placed an order and they were sent...

The bracket is part 6 (right) and 7 (left). Bolt 30 holds the bracket onto the bumper and bolt 45 connects the bracket to the fender.

Use the above link to get the right ones. I have a 2005 and had to do the same thing.

So those brackets you are talking about, go through the bumper, and then to the fender, and the bolts go sideways towards the wheel right?

I was confused from teh picture, because usually they put the bolt in the direction it's supposed to go in, and in that picture from honda the bolts go toward the front bumper, rather than towards the wheels.

Yeah those part schematics don't really make much sense.

Basically they are "L" shaped brackets. The bumper has a flat part and a small slit for the bracket to slide through. The underside of the bracket has a built in nut so once you slide the bracket horizontal part of the bracket through the slit you use the bolt to secure it to the bumper. Then once you put the bumper on the horizontal part of the bracket lines up with the fender and screw the other bolt in (yes this is the one towards the wheel).

Hopefully this makes a little more sense. If not I'll try to draw a picture in Paint or something, but I promise you i'm not that good

You don't have to have these brackets, all the really do is keep the bumper and fender lined up on that small section by the headlight.

That makes plenty of sense. BEcause i'm missing that part, i do have a slight gap on each side, nothing too crazy, but it's still there. ok so that's part # 6 & 7. and then i need 4 bolts (2 for each side) right?
