I need Tips on replacing airbag system
I'm currently replacing my complete airbag system to an 01' AP1 (both airbags, seatbelts, and SRS unit. I have replacements from a parted out 02' but wanted to know if there was any particular way these need to be installed. I don't want them deploying once I hook my battery back up after the install. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

all you have to do is take the battery off, change everything and you should be good to go. if the air bag light is on there is a proceedure to turn it off.
find the yellow 2 wire plug that plugs into the fuse box, jump it then turn the key on, when the light goes out, dissonnect jumper, when the light comes back on reconnect the jumper, then the light should flash twice. that means the system is set. dissconnect jumper and plug it back into the fuse box.
if you not confident get someone who is, but its pretty easy. good luck!

^Yep.
I did it, same replacement (make sure all componenets come from one car). Same procedure, works fine, about a year later, everything is still ok.
don't be afraid! Just do it, I did, the very first try, it worked!
