Yes sir. I am doing all the steps. Sand factory paint with 220 grit sand papper, clean, spray primer, sand with 400 grit sand papper, clean, spray paint and hope it comes out good enough not to need wet sanding..

I was thinking about painting my rims bronze but I'm not sure what that would look like considering they have a polished lip. Anyone feel like helping a brotha out with a photochop?

Dude, a nice bronze in the inner part of the wheel, would look real real good.

Try it out man, thats how you learn. Its really not as hard as people make it out to be.

Yea I painted my front bumper and have the compressor and spray guns, the only thing I was worried about is how much work would be put into these and if they didn't look right at the end. Like you said though, the only way to find out is to do it.

O yea, the rims look good so far, more pics when you finish.

Honestly, Its really easy to paint wheels. All you need is to be dedicated to it for as long as it takes you, and they should come out good.
I started by helping a friend out paint hes wheels, to helping another, to having a friend help me with mine, to now. (wich I do all my wheels alone now).
A budy of mine just finished painting he's bmw e30 on he's own.(it came out good too)
Check it out. He has it from beginning, to almost end.
