HardTop Wiring - Demister wiring - Pics inside
Hi Folks ,
Well I am part way through my install of hardtop catchers and also retro fitting the hardtop wiring loom.
I am basicly taking a non GT version of the S2000 and converting it to Honda spec'd OEM version of the GT.
I have serveral OEM hardtop wiring looms, and I have noticed that some of them connect differently, and this is were I have a question .
As you can see in the pictures below I have the wrining connected to the cars OEM wiring loom, please note no mods or cutting of wires needed, the problem I have encounted is part of the loom for the switch has a different connection on it,and will not plug into the switch I have, now the switch is OEM and an AP1 console style switch.
So the green plug in the photo below is it for an AP2 switch? i.e Will I need to find an AP2 console to plug the green plug into??
Pictures
Cheers

So can someone please take a picture of the under side of there newer console, so I can work out what the plugs look like to see if my theory is right??
The theory being that I have the newer wiring loom for the H/T and so will need the newer console.
Thanks in advance

Here are the two wiring looms, I have installed the one with green connections.
I still need a picture of the underside of a newer centre console, and the demister button

I converted my center console a while back but had to install a new relay to take the button.
The green connectors look like the old AP1 button connection. I do have pic

Interested myself Kiwi as I recently added a hardtop. Apart from your being an import do you have a glass roof to the softtop? I know there are several variations of what is required on HTG's website.

My problem having installed the catchers on my 2006 non GT car is that i cannot locate the empty socket to plug the part of the hardtop wiring loom to the existing loom behind the passenger seat.
Here's some pics of the wiring, the plug on my hardtop wiring loom and a mystery grey socket that seems to receive something but certainly not my hardtop wiring loom!!!
Some help would be appreciated, even if it is to tell me i have the wrong hardtop wiring loom.
The wiring loom has the following number stickered to it:
32204-s2A-0100 and also a little 2004-07
Am stumped!

Bump again, i've got all the parts of the loom apart from the loom that actually connects to the switch. The switch I have is the same as what Kiwi has(the underside of the switch) and the loom I'm getting is Honda part number: 32205-S2A-H00 SUB CORD,RR DEF S

Can anyone confirm this will fit the switch pictured above?
Thanks in advance.

Carlip the part number according to Honda should be the right one. Kiwi-S2000 could not fit the green plug in the switch probably because he had the 04+ wiring. It's a pitty he didn't take a photo of the white label which is on the loom with the 2 green connectors and has the part number of the loom. My guess is that it would be a different part number. Having said that i believe that the part number 32205-S2A-H00 will fit your switch but i cannot confirm this as i never had the experience to see one of those looms close
