Default Mines @ Morning - test run Sat. 8/18/07

Would like to invite you to MINES RD. This is a dirty bumpy road that i hear isn't so good for slammed rides. It's tight and technical, and for half of our run one lane. We won't be driving as all out as we were on Skaggs seeing as it's a more dangerous, but spirited driving yes.

Our route will take us from Livermore to Milpitas. Starting in Livermore going down Mines Rd then around Mt. Hamilton (where we'll take it easy) then down to smellpitas.

Meet Point - Starbackles in Dublin (same as yosemite) at 11:00am Saturday 8/18/07

Dublin Starbucks
4930 Dublin Blvd
Dublin, CA 94568

That would be incorrect. There are many places were there is no center line.

All I can say is be careful if you are going. It is unpredictable.

No Mt. Hamilton in the car for me.. only on the bike. I got sick in the car every time we went up there!

we did a bunch of audi drives on this route.... for those who are first timers, be careful we had couple cars ended up down the cliff during the drive here. and yes there are sections that are single lanes, so you have to watch for on coming traffic.
