Interesting tip for those building cages. There is over 20lbs of roll structure in the a pillars.

When I cut the windshield off of my autocross car, the total savings was 41 pounds. 20 for the glass and 21 for the frame. It's a stout, multi-layered bitch that ate through several sawzall blades.

Does anyone have the weight reference for cutting out the bowl in the trunk & replacing/patching up with a sheet of aluminum?

Removed entire soft top/soft top motor/hardware. All of that is only 62lbs. I was hoping for 100lbs like I've read somewhere.

Right, I was disapointed as well. When you eliminate the soft top and run a factory hard top you only lose 10 pounds. Although replacing the factory hardtop mounts with bolted in aluminum brackets will drop another 8-10 pounds.

My OMP halo seats (including mounts) are the same weight as the stock seats. When it comes to weight reduction on the s2000, there is no low hanging fruit.
