I bought the low profile aluminum at Costco. $99.00 and so far I love it. It looks just like the Harbor Freight one listed above except it is all silver and has a bumper pad.

It does reach the jacking point without "pre-jacking." Sounds a little dangerous when you say it that way.

I have the 2 ton HF jack. It lifts just fine but doesnt seem to jack very fast. Probably have a bit of a leak but haven't bothered to try to figure out how to fix it/take it back to HF to get replaced.

I have the jack shown from Harbour freight. It is a really nice jack, and really light *but* it will NOT fit under a lowered s2k.
On the front sides... no way. The rear sides, you can lift up by the fender a little, and it'll slide under. You can get it under the rear for the rear diff as long as you have no rear lip, and I dont think it'll fit under the front with or w/o a lip.
