Default My own DIY project

Well in light of all the recent threads on home built projects for the s2000 I decided to do something of my own. Its nothing to add hp but just for a little added convience. I just wired up my friends car with neons in his footwells and I really liked how it came out so I decided to do it with my car. Here is a picture of how it turned out.

Sorry for the bad photo but its hard to get a camera to focus at night. They are a lot brighter then pictured. They are LEDs also and only turn on when the specific door turns on (aka the right door turns on the right footwells).

I also decided to add puddle lights to the car. My moms tribeca came with them and I've found them very useful getting around at night when getting into the car. These are wired to only turn on when the main dome light comes on (aka unlocking / locking / opening the doors). No underbody rice here . They came out great and now all my friends want me to wire them up under their cars .

Once again the pictures are crap and don't do them justice. They are a perfect white (LEDs) and are very bright -- a lot brighter then I excepected. So much so they light up the whole underside of the car.

And a picture of both the driver footwell and the puddle lights with the LED dome / maplights as well. I'm an LED whore

I'll be writing up a complete install guide on how to do this if anyone likes the idea. Its pretty easy just running the wires back and forth takes some time.

Hope you guys enjoy!

+2 on the puddle lights. What type of lighting did you use for them?

Smart idea about the puddle lights.

I like how you kept it rice-free as well.
