Does anyone have any experience with these? They are listed for $400 on ebay.

$470 with shipping for fake wheels of unknown parentage.
$500 for a set of real OEM AP2 (Enike) wheels in Columbus. <----- that's a link!
(With center caps. I think they're $30 each if not more.)

I just bought that exact set yesterday. I actually contacted them about having (4) rears only. He said he'd do it for the same exact price $470 shipped + tax.
I'll be receiving them this coming Monday. I'm going to see if my 3mm spacers will allow the fronts to work, without having to bore them. I'll report back!

I'd get em; mainly due to the fact that 90% of the V1 wheels I've seen locally for sale on CL are beat up, scratches, curbed, bad clearcoat, minor bent, etc. etc. It's honestly quite rare to find a super clean set of V1 wheels. And, it'll most likely be around $600-800 anyways for a beater set.
I see V2 posted for sale much more often. But, they're heavier and the looks can be subjective (I def like V1 the most). V3 are heavy as well.
My research says these clones are good and of decent quality. They're maybe only 1-3lbs heavier (so, the same weight as V2 and V3 wheels). But at least you get a fresh and clean set of wheels with good paint & clearcoat, no curbs, no scratches, bends, etc.

Even though the OP went another route, I just wanted to chime in for other prospective buyers of the "knock off" AP2V1 wheels.
The wheels came packaged better than I could have ever imagined, for the price I paid! Better than some of the high end wheels I've bought in the past, I will say that!
The finish/quality seems to be spot on and I did mount a set of 245/40/17 RE-71r's to these recently. I also went with a set of 5mm spacers up front, instead of having the wheels center bore enlarged.]
