Default 2003 Silver, 135K, bodywork is no perfect but a solid car.

---CAR IS SOLD!---

I have made up my mind and decided to sell my beloved 2003 reg'd Honda S2000.

MY03, Silverstone colour, black interior, UKDM, 136500 miles.

It is a UK version, with factory fitted Cat1 alarm, black interior, black leather seats and leather steering wheel.

The car is in good condition to its age. It has 136.5k on the clock that does not feel much on the car.

I developed an urge to have a face lifted version of the S2000 as all the things I'd improve in mine are in the face lifted ones.

The car is well maintained by me, I changed oil every 3-4K miles. Last oil change was at 135K.
Recently replaced gearbox and diff fluid (about 4K miles ago).
About 6 months ago the radiator developed a leak and I decided to replace it with a TEGIWA full aluminium rad, together with fresh Honda coolant.
I have removed and cleaned throttle body for better response.
Valve clearance is checked and adjusted about 4 months ago.
I have had the injectors ultrasonically cleaned by a professional about 3 months ago.
On the pictures you see a japstyle exhaust fitted. I have removed it and reinstalled the original exhaust. I know japstyle is not everybody's taste...
I have the boot area sound insulated.
I have taken apart, painted red and rebuilt all 4 brake calipers with new seals and grease. Also replaced brake fluid while there.
I have replaced all 4 suspension strut bars with genuine low mileage units from another S2000. They are factory parts, not fancy coil overs. The roof is original and functioning perfect. Opens and closes easily. There is a very small rip on the drivers side that I caught in time and patched up from inside. Also the passenger side has 2 small rips on the edge. Common with these roofs.
I have 4 brand new tyres installed recently. They are Bridgestone RE002 tyres, not cheap budget ones!
New spark plugs about 4000 miles ago.
New battery fitted a 2 months ago as the old one was on its way out...
I have Billman250's GenX TCT installed, guaranteed for life, straight from the USA!
Factory stereo, I'm not into ICE.
There are bad points of course...
The bodywork has some small dents, mainly from door accidents from car parks. There are also a few stone chips on the front. The worst is an area of lacquer peel on the front left wing (size of a 2p coin), see pictures! The wheels could do with a refurb, however only a very few light kerb marks on them, it's mainly peeling lacquer.

I am open to offers but keep in mind that I would be equally happy to keep the car if not getting a reasonable price for it.
You are welcome to come and have a look, driving is only with proper insurance proven. No test drivers please! (Unless you come with an S2000 )

MOT is brand new, valid until 13/09/16. No advisories! It is the lower tax bracket (£290/year). I have 2 sets of original keys with fobs. I have a printout from Honda proving regular service up to 90K miles but not the service book.

£3895 ovno

The car is in Poole, Dorset!

sorry for the quality of the pictures... I'm rubbish with the camera!

BUMP!

A few more pictures of the interior and one of the front calliper installed.
Am I asking too much for this car? I'm interested about people's opinion too, just to put myself into context...

Personally I would say that's a fair price for a straight car with those miles.

Thanks!
People are so fussy even for a low price like that...

Do you have pics of the under chassis, arches ?

I have no access to a proper car lift so making pics from the undercarriage would be quite difficult.
Do you have somebody over here who could have a look of it for you?
I know travel is not too bad as we have ferry service to France here in Poole but it is still a long journey in time!
