Abingdon with Motorsport Events - Friday 12th June
A few of us have decided to do a track day at Abingdon on 12th June.
The organiser is Motorsport Events with whom many people have enjoyed track days and the day costs £129
It is an airfield circuit so there is lots of run-off and it's a great place to try out a track day for the first time, here's a video taken from an S2000

Ah, would love to join you guys, but I'll only just have got back from my Monaco, Como, Interlaken, Reims trip. Sad times, I know... ;-)

You'll be fine in that case - the video gives a good idea of the available space. People spin there all the time with no problems. There is one corner where it is highly recommended that you don't spin - it's where Winfreak came to grief.
Be warned however, if you continually spin your car (and it sounds like that isn't the case here), there is a good chance you'll be sent home.
If you really want to lob the the car around, I can highly recommend booking a half day with Ed Moore. Just you, him and an airfield all to yourself: http://www.motorsport-events.co.uk/1-2-1-tuition.php

I usually try to pop by in the afternoon leaving work early. It is a shame they do it only on Fridays... do you know whether would be possible to book only the afternoon?
