Hey guys,

I've been planning on supercharging my 06 AP2 for awhile now. I have actively researching and following up on others builds. Now it is my time to share how far Stella and I have come. I guess I will start from the beginning...

2006 Sebring silver with 76k miles. I picked her up in January of this year. She is my daily driver. The car already had an authentic veilside spoiler, vertex coilovers and abs side diffusers.

The first mod I did was purchase a Gernby Exhaust and a flashpro to run a tune. Sorry no photos of that install But the exhaust and tune combo work wonders for a little increased pick up and amazing exhaust sound.

Next, I picked up SOS hood dampers and Carbon fiber cooling plate

I then added a little flare to the front end by adding an OEM rep lip and Wasp carbon fiber front lip protector

I then began saving up for pieces for my supercharger build. I started off with the clutch kit. I ordered ACT HD PP, OEM friction disk, & Ap1 flywheel. I had the install completed at Rockstar Garage in Ontario, CA. Great shop for service and parts!

I found a great deal for gauges from a seller on S2ki.

I would constantly scan the forum for a used supercharger kit that met my needs and my price range. I finally made my purchase. The kit arrived first of October. I purchased a stage 2 1220 oil fed SOS supercharger kit. I purchased a brand new upgraded heat exchanger directly from SOS.

I kept going back and forth between having a shop do the install or attempting it myself. Obviously, it would be a great learning experience and would help any trouble shooting if I encountered any issues down the road. But then again it's pretty intimidating if I were to mess anything up. I decided to go for. With the help of a few local s2k buddies, Sunday the 2nd we started getting at it. We worked on it for about 4 hours before running into our first hiccup. With the a lot of help to RAINH8R for assisting a stranger in person but a brother in the s2k community, I discovered the seller didn't send the radiator hose that comes with the SOS kit which allows for the mounting of the aftercooler. This is how we ended up Sunday night.

I called SOS first thing monday morning asking to have the missing parts shipped next day air. The guys at that shop provide amazing customer service. I had a few questions throughout the entire build and they were very helpful. The parts came in on Tuesday and we got back at it around 4pm. We ran into another little issue as the spacers for the stock fuel rail were not included. I could not for the life of me figure out how the RC650 injectors mounted into the stock fuel rail. After about an hour of online research we finally realized what the issue was. My friend and I slapped each other for over looking the problem and wasting time. It was around 1am when we finally had it together and ready for the test run. Everything finally went together as I slapped the basemap on it, she was alive and kicking.

I ran the basemap for a few days but never drove over 4500 rpm. I just wanted to make sure I was able to get from place to place with no issues. I was eagerly awaiting my dyno tune to see what she could do.

The final build parts & stats:
SOS Stage 2 1220 Oil fed blower
SOS upgraded heat exchanger
stock 9psi pulley
RC 650 injectors
stock fuel pump
ACT HD PP
ap1 flywheel
OEM friction disc

342 whp - 8.2psi @ 8200rpm
219 torque

Great numbers for such low boost. Why run such low boost? On straight 91 octane your setup is good for a little over 400whp at 12-14 psi of boost. When you get use to the power you should max out your setup on pump gas. All you need is a smaller pully for 13 or so psi and some id1000cc injectors.

I didn't want to get too greedy. It's my first forced induction vehicle. I wanted to have a starting point so that way when I do crave more, a swap of injectors and smaller pulley will beat on that 400hp door.
