Quantum Race Works in a new shop that opened this June/July in Ravena, NY. Steve Andrews opened up his own shop after the owner of Synapse lost interest and wanted out of the car business. Steve was basically running synapse for the past couple years and is a jack of all trades. He's got 4 dynapacks so he can tune fwd, rwd and awd vehicles. Aside from his computer/tuning abilities he's a pro mechanically and an amazing fabricator. He has the shop set up well with numerious jigs for different vehicle manifolds etc and even has a cnc plasma for his fabrication. He's also a top notch engine builder and built and tuned Greg's motor 2 years ago which is still taking a beating even after 70+ track events.
Those of you who know me know that i trust my vehicles in the hands of very few. I typically do all my own work and a lot of work for others but there are 2 areas i stay away from, Paint and Tuning. Harts Collision does all my paint/body work. And now Quantum is the only place that will touch my car for future tuning and engine building needs. Steve recently had my car for the last week to do retainers/keepers and a dyno tune. Right away we had an issue with the cam sensor not getting a signal. After a few hours of diagnosis Steve figured out the problem, the hondata harness, brand new straight from hondata, had 2 wires pinned wrong on the ecu side. Right after the cam sensor was sorted another problem reared it's head, the troublesome ID1000 plug and play injector clips were failing. Steve took the initiative to go ahead and solder them right into the oem harness and sorted that problem quickly. Up on the dyno she went and hit my goal of 400hp with a very conservative tune, something steve felt very safe with. I was a little weary of seeing my bill with the problems Steve had to diagnose but when he told me the price my jaw dropped. He was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than i had expected. I couldn't be happier with the job Steve did on my car and the time he did it in. Along the way he kept me updated and i was always in the loop. Steve will get all my future business and if anyone on here needs anything engine/tuning related i would highly recommend him.

Hmmmm, I'll have to shoot him an email and find out what a custom exhaust would cost to build for mine. My exhaust is 12 years old and has had its day lol. I want a dual 3" exhaust now and as quiet as possible lol
