Default ● NE - Meet and chill and chat - Saturday 11th October *

All members of North East, I'd like to get together for a session to discuss what you'd all like for next years calendar.

As mentioned before I don't want to be an ro, but don't mind helping out and organising some gatherings.

Informal, no set plan, but I'd say 1pm onwards. Can cruise, eat, drink, if it's at mine you can stopover, as the wife's away that weekend. My only task is walk the dogs.

What I want out of the day is
Fun
Food
Meet ideas/wants
Frequency

Who's up for it?

I will kick this off, new date for remap 2nd October so car should hopefully be fully functioning by the 3rd. So will be happy to attend this.

I would be up for meeting up. Pub, static or cruise? any is fine. Like previously stated I didn't want to commit to being a RO whilst I was 'tinkering' with my car and had issues etc. but may reconsider with suitable backing. It would be a good chance to get some ideas down for next year.

Super news, that means you'll be attending the metro centre then too?

Might have to noise test both cars with an app I've got, and see how loud yours is.

Just a cheap one, silverline. I actually find their electric tools quite good, particularly my SDS drill. But I've never been a big detailer, more a clean and shiny over see your reflection.

Used to have one of the big buffer things but that's too big for everything except the bonnet on the s2k. Was fine on the astra estate.

So now I can practice on the rust s spot on the m Mrs Mondeo bonnet lol.

Never had any problems with silverline tools quality and price seem reasonable. As far as detailing goes I must admit I like skills on this department normally just consists of a 'quick' polish and wax. Think its fair to say I keep my car clean but never really 'shiny' and certainly not show quality. Could really do with improving this skill set.
