♣ FREE S2000 HEALTHCHECK - Saturday 13th September *
I have approached my local Honda dealers in Redhill, Surrey for some goodies for the Megameet charity and as well as some merchandise and S2000 related goodies they have made what I hope you'll agree is a fantastic offer to us.
For Saturday 13th September from 9am to 5pm they will make their workshop, ramp and technicians available to us FREE OF CHARGE for anyone who wants a healthcheck on their car. I will get details of what they will include in this but it will include a visual once-over and level checks and top ups as required. You will also be able to put your S on their ramp and supervised by their technicians will be able to look at the condition of the underneath.
It will be a good opportunity to chat the techys about any concerns you have the car and to tap into their experience and knowledge.
They have even offered to lay on breakfast and lunch
The FREE OF CHARGE bit isn't however strictly accurate....I would expect a donation to the MegaMeet Charity. Not sure if we need to set a minimum donation for this so would welcome your thoughts on what might be appropriate or whether you think we should just appeal to peoples conscience.
There is a limit of 20 cars during the day and I'll need to gauge numbers in the next few weeks. Of course we'll need to stagger the times so we're not all there at once.
I think it only fair to offer places to those on the Megameet first, but even if you are not going you can still make a difference to the charity by adding your name down.
So who's up for it ?
and a huge thank you to Redhill Honda for a really generous donation to our cause.

I will need to confirm numbers for this fairly soon. Don't forget its available to all S2K owners, even if you are not going to megameet.
The amount you are donating to the charity will remain anonymous if that helps.
I'm not sure we'll be able to go ahead with just 3 cars. The mechanics are giving up their Saturday for this so they'll need to be sure its worthwhile.
