So you would like something added to the lists, please send me a PM or post in this thread, which we'll use to get things off the ground: https://www.s2ki.com/...rum-favourites/
For loads more detail than is given here, please refer to the Technical FAQ Sticky: Technical FAQ

Oil
The Owners' Manual specifies 10w30 for UK temperatures (-20C to +40C) or 5w40 for a wider temperature range (-30C to +40C).
10w40 and 5w30 are acceptable to use as well.
Forum Favourites at present are:
Castrol Edge 5w40 (either the red cap petrol version or the black cap diesel version or the new FST)
Fuchs Pro S Titan 5w40

Timing Chain Tensioner, also known as a TCT
The symptom of this problem is a rattle from then engine bay (sounds like a card in bicycle spokes and tends to only happen when the engine is warm).
This thread explains the problem and various fixes for it https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/808...ent-or-repair/
In addition to that, a Forum Favourite is the Ballade Sports TCT http://www.balladesports.com/product...hain-tensioner
An expensive fix is to replace the Timing Chain, Sprocket, Guides and Tensioner. This is very expensive in both parts and labour. For more info, please see here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/865...t__p__20614912
