Default Widest wheels you can fit on a stock S2000

Hey guys, as topic states I just want to how wide you can go on an S2000 (stock height and stock suspension) without having any scrubbing. I currently have 17x9+45 on the rear and 17x8+35 on the front.
I am happy with the rears but the fronts stick out about an inch and cause stones to flick up and hit the lower part of the door. I pretty much just want to have them in line with the guards to avoid that, if that makes sense?

Thanks.

Ross

Did you search at all? This has been covered a number of times.

Tons of threads if you search and just look for any of s2000junky's posts on the topic.

Actually reading your post again are you actually asking about wheel width? You issue with the fronts is due to the +35 offset. You should have +45. That would put it in line with the fender more and make it match the rears look.

Ah ok, thanks for that. So 17x8+45 will be be the way to go. I'm guessing that If I went 17x9+45 I would be in the exact same position I'm in now right?

These are the widest tires you can fit on a stock body s2000. Widest rims would be 11-11.5 inches wide with an offset in the low 60's

what particular brand, model rims (that are not custom) would have offset in the 60-63's and width at 10-11.5?

There are only 3 options that I know of

1. Custom widen any rim of your choice
2. Buy forgestars
3. Buy ccw's

I choose to go with option one which is by far the most affordable.

Yup there really isn't an off the shelf option. Forgestar a and ccw are the most economical options. There is plenty of full custom options out there as well but you could buy a set of forgestar a for the price of one custom forged wheel.

Also worth mentioning at this point you have to buy 18's in order to have proper tire choices. The 295 35 17's pictured above are sold out and have been for a while. It is not clear of it is a size that will continue to be made with the new design of that tire.
