[hr]What is Rock & Horse Power?
Hurtwood Park Polo Club is very proud to be teaming up with this fantastic charity to create a totally unique event. Where horsepower meets pony power the Hurtwood Charity Day in aid of Prostate Cancer UK will offer the traditional properties of polo with the added benefit of a huge array of high performance super cars on display. This will then be followed by an evening concert featuring Kenney Jones and some very special friends.

The day will be an outing of the bold and beautiful, and that is just starting with the cars. Last year’s event was a triumphant triumvirate of trophies, trips and tribunes which created a world record breaking gathering of over 300 Pininfarina designed cars. Among the cars that were on display were a 275 GTB Spider, 250 GT SWB, the 365 Daytona and many more recent Ferrari models including the 360 Modena and the 458 Spider.

Among equestrian sports polo has no equal and over the years some of Polo’s greatest players have played at Hurtwood. This premier polo event of the year at Hurtwood will attract a stellar crowd of celebrities, patrons and world class players.

Sounds like it could be a civilised day out (unlike most of the S2K meets!). Not sure the poor little S is in the same league as all the Modena boys though....

Will need to check with BadGirl as to whether we're free or not.

 

Would probably be rude not to if it's that close, however that depends on whether you can decide which Saturday it is

 

We should be up for this, subject to Exec approval.

And Hotel Chilworth will be open for business as usual....each booking comes with a free session on the Grey Goosey.....

 

Ticket purchased. Seems you need to register the car for approval by the organsiers as a 'classic'. Lets hope they look favourably on our S2000s..
