I bought the car in Oct 2008 from Avonvale Honda, it had 2 previous owners with 28k on the clock.

Details:

Taxed (£280 p/a) until 20/10/2014

MOT Dec 26/10/2014

Service book all up-to-date. Annually serviced by Honda until 2010. Since then, I have used TGM in Fleet for all work (far superior to Honda IMHO) and I have regularly replaced transmission and diff’ fluids.

Work done since 2008:

K&N induction – original available if needed.

June 2013 had Eibach pro springs fitted – originals available if needed

Frozen bushes replaced followed by OEM geo setup June 2013

Cat died last year and has been replaced with a Berk High Flow cat

Replaced the roof last year with a mohair one. It has the lizard skins for future protection

Replaced front discs and pads August 2012 with Bremtechs and DS2500 – plenty of life left in them

Replaced head unit with Sony MEX-BT3900U (b’tooth and front USB and iphone) – original included in sale.




Only time it has let me down was a dead battery on a cold day 2012 – replaced with a Honda one

No oil between services have ever been needed

All paperwork kept of services and MOTs etc.

I have a set of 1 piece mats to go with the car – Muzmats I think



General comments in the interest of honesty


Front tyres a worn on the inner edge as normal and will need replacing in the next few months, rear are fine (estimate 4+mm). Currently Bridgestone RE050s

Wheels need a refurbishment.

Gears ‘notchy’ when cold – I was going to get Tom (TGM) to fix this next visit – A file and a ½ hours labour he said.

Usual stone chips on front plus one on the screen. It’s been fixed but can be seen, not affecting MOT though. 2 small car park dings.

And finally


I feel that this is a very good example of a 2005 car. It has been well looked after by me with regular servicing using the correct parts. I feel quite disloyal (weird, I know!) writing up the details to sell the car but have bought another and can’t afford to run 3 cars.
