● Spa Francorchamps Trackday - Monday 14th July *
After missing out last year, I have been persuaded by Sazzy to tag along with her and a few others for this year's Bookatrack day at the awesome Spa circuit.
We are going to travel on Saturday 12th July using Eurotunnel, returning on Tuesday 15th. It's perfectly possible to travel on the Sunday and return on the Monday if you wish to cut down on costs.
We will be staying at the Radisson Blu Palace hotel in Spa http://www.radissonb...palacehotel-spa other, cheaper hotels are available.
To book, visit the Bookatrack website: http://bookatrack.com/ it costs £375 and places are going fast (only 11 left at the time of writing).
Noise limit is 107dB, so this should be ok for pretty much everyone!
Fuel is available at the track - you can pay by credit card for this as the station is unattended.

Not for me. Done Spa once but felt like a typical f1 circuit (so wide with miles of run off) that unless you have 400 plus bhp makes the car feel gutless especially out of au rouge down to les Combes . Nope it's a power circuit. Even my mate was bored by lunchtime and thought what's the point!
Too spoilt with Oulton, Cadwell and Donny up North. All that travelling too and costs. Could do Cadwell 3 times for the same money
Spa easy to learn too. Nowhere near as technical as Cadwell.

Done it last year with Lotus on Track (£250). As I was the only S2000 on the track on the day it is good to see an on board video with a speedo window. As all the others on my day were Lotus Elise's etc. It is good to see terminal velocity of another S2000. After a good exit from Eau Rouge I was pulling 120MPH at the brakeing point at Les Coombes.

Putting the roof up makes a big difference I've found.
