Unable to clear VSA warning light
Several months ago, I had my S2000 on a battery tender and without thinking, pulled started the car and pulled it out the garage. Ever since then, the VSA warning light has been on, which of course it means it's disabled. I tried all the basic stuff like resetting the ECU, checking tire pressure, brake fluid levels, etc. to no avail.
I was finally able to take the car to the local S2000 specialist. The code he read was related to the steering angle sensor. He tried to clear the code multiple times and it kept coming back, even after a fresh alignment.
Any ideas on what it might be causing it? It would be nice to have traction control.

Pretty sure it involved turning your steering wheel 45 and 90 degrees in both directions

Edit: Searching turned up a thread on how to reset the steering torque sensor. Is this what I'm looking for?

I had a similar problem with mine after an alignment. I hooked the Honda reader up to the car and the angle sensor was reading 30 degrees when the front wheels were pointing straight ahead. According to my service manual, if the angle sensor is off by a certain amount (more than 5-10 degrees?), it will throw the VSA disable code. The procedure mentioned above and in the post you linked is for the steering rack torque sensor which is different than the angle sensor. The re-learn procedure for the angle sensor (if using the Honda diagnostic tool) involves pointing the wheels straight ahead and clearing the angle sensor such that it reads 0 degrees. I don't know how to reset the angle sensor without the Honda reader. Assuming that is your only problem, the VSA light should stay off after clearing the angle sensor and clearing the code. And to answer your second question, yes. The VSA light will come back on if you clear the code without resetting the angle sensor. Hope this helps!

Gizzard there are two different procedures.... That one is for the torque sensor in the rack.
You need the relearn for the steering angle sensor which is behind the steering wheel.
You cannot just clear this, it needs to be "written to" with inputs from you. I don't know it right off hand but it's in the book.
