Default ***Event*** Trip to Myrtle Beach

**Event**
There are 4-5 of us headed to Myrtle beach for an extended weekend in February, starting on the 12th (wed.) and coming home on the 16th (sun.)

Departing: 2-12-14 at 6 pm from the Harry Nice bridge (SoMd to Va). Gas at 301/95 around 6:45

Thursday: We're going to freestyle. Maybe some shopping, putt putt golf, go karting... Whatever the group wants to do. BBQ and tech(only if needed) Thursday night at my place.

Friday: Morning drive to Charleston to do some sight seeing, lunch, shopping, and pictures

Saturday: The Carolina's group is hosting a cars and coffee for us (also, their first ever in MB) at 9:00. The s2000s there will all split off to do an s2ki meet up in MB at a mini golf course. To make this event even better, we'll cruise down to Murrell's Inlet for dinner around 6 or 7.

Departing: Sunday no later than 11 am

There are a few of us staying at my place down there but, Herb Wilson would be happy to suggest nice, affordable lodging on the strip. All are encouraged to join in on this trip, the Carolina's guys are thrilled to have us down there.

Just a note..... If you take 301 south until it runs into Rt 207 which then runs into I-95, there is a LOVES truck stop (just north of Kingdom Dominion at exit 104) that would make a great place to meet for those coming from northern VA , DC, and other parts of MD.

Other than driving till past midnight... This sounds like a busy but fun weekend.

Yeah we'll be there kind of late but we can all sleep in on Thursday and already be there ;-)

And it's all loosely structured. The only set time is for cars and coffee. Otherwise we're just there to enjoy the sites and cruising with friends

Would love to make this. I think it's about 6 hours from Virginia Beach.

Just happened to see this. My +1 and I will be there that weekend also. He is running the Myrtle Beach marathon on Sat, Feb 15. It does start at 6:30 AM, but expect it to cause some traffic disruption for a few hours. Not sure of the route.

You should definitely come by! I'll get your contact info when the time is closer so that you can meet up with the s2ki group if you can't make cars and coffee.
